Interested in being part of the market? We’re always looking for new vendors, farmers, supporters and friends.

Do you qualify?

Space is limited, If you meet our qualifications, you may submit details about your farm and products for our review, via the Vendor Interest Form link below. Please note that this is NOT an application to sell – this simply an inquiry of interest from you to us (please use this form rather than sending us an email).  We will review your information and then let you know if we are able to offer you an space in our market.

Applicants who are accepted in to our market are sent, by mail with a approval notice.

Vendors may be limited from selling certain products at market depending on the existent vendor/product mix.

Vendors may be wait-listed for some or all dates, as space is limited and the growing season is unpredictable.

Vendors may only sell the products listed on their application – vendors cannot sell products that were not listed on the original application without submitting a written addendum and obtaining written approval from the SFM.


Set up for the market is 9:00 am, and Breakdown is 3pm (no earlier).
The market is located in Magnolia Square on 1st Street, 150 E. 1st St.  When you arrive in the morning ask for Michelle (please on your first market do NOT arrive before 9am), I will show you where to set up. Everyone is very Nice & Helpful so ask if you have any questions.

We are looking for motivated growers and vendors who will benefit from selling at our markets and who will tailor their crops, products and pricing structure to meet the needs of the residents in the low-income communities we serve.


Only food vendors need state required permits from Dept of Agri or Hotel Restaurant. Some Food Vendors may fall under the Cottage Food Law. Please check out the Cottage food law on the Department of Agricultures website. All requirements must be met. We do get inspected by the state periodically.


If you are a Art , Craft, Vintage, or Upcycled Vendor…Please send an example of your items for approval. Detailed description or photo.


Each week we offer music during market hours. If you have a musical group, send information along with a link to your music. For kids we offer low key entertainment that doesn’t require special equipment or set up. Click here to Read More


If you are a community-based organization and if space permits we welcome local, non-political and non-religious organizations to pitch a tent or table and join us on a Saturday. Groups that can bring kids entertainment are always welcome. Click here to Read More


Farmers are always FREE to sell at the market.
The Farmers Market vending fee is currently waived for all new vendors.


The crop plans will be used to insure that a fair and reasonable distribution of vendors, and as much variety as possible,

Please be as specific as possible about what you’d like to sell as this information is central to allocating a fair share of the Market to all, and insuring that our customers have a good variety of product to choose from throughout the market season.

We will work in good faith to make allocations as fair and reasonable as possible.

You are welcome to request a certain spot, but please be aware that this is not guaranteed.


We offer Free Electric. Please bring your own extension cord and duck tape!

You Must bring your own Tasteful Set Up…Tent, Tables, Tablecloth, Chairs.


Vendors if you can make it on Saturday notify the market manager at least 24 hours in advance). Not attending the market without notifying the market manager can result in the vendor being asked not to return for the remainder of the season. You can contact Michelle, market manager, by email,


The Market is held every Saturday 10am-3pm, all year market. Open Air Market.
Located in the center of downtown Sanford, surrounded by beautiful brick streets, plenty of parking, wonderful restaurants, galleries, and unique boutiques.
Farmers are always FREE to sell at the market.


The market runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m rain or shine. Please plan to attend in all weather. The market is cancelled in only very extreme circumstances, but if it becomes necessary we will do so by 8am on the day of the market. Cancellation will be announced to vendors by email, and will also be posted on the market’s facebook page and on the website.
